We believe in transparency, and we’re committed to being upfront about our privacy practices, including how we treat personal information we collect or receive. We know you care about your privacy and that of your clients, so we provide settings that allow you to control how certain information is used on Relayroo. This policy explains our privacy practices for Relayroo.com (the “Site”), Relayroo mobile applications (the “Apps”) and services provided by Relayroo. By visiting the Site or using the Apps, you are accepting the terms of this Privacy Policy. Any external links to other websites are clearly identifiable as such, and we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of these other websites. Information collected or received

Relayroo will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, except as specified in this policy. As a member you are required to provide your full name, email address and a password at registration. We collect your IP address and determine details such as your probable country and currency. You may additionally provide details such as a profile photo, and other contact information/links. Depending on which services you choose to use, Relayroo may require additional information, such as a business/shop name, address, location, telephone number(s), industry and fee details. As a business/shop owner Relayroo may request further information such as identification in order to verify your identity and provide service to you. Relayroo may contact individual shop/business owners to confidentially request more information about their business or items listed on the Site/App, to ensure compliance with our rules. Certain products or services on Relayroo may require you to complete an application; any information you submit through the application processes will not be displayed publicly and will only be used internally, unless otherwise specified. Your name, and additional data such as photo, shop/business affiliation(s), country and account verification/linking non-detailed status (email, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+) is publicly displayed and connected to your activity. Other contact details may optionally be shared via your personal profile settings. Other people may see those details in addition to the date you joined, reviews, ratings, profile information, comments in community spaces, and scores relating to counts of details such as messages, orders and related processing. Should a shop/business have been registered then its name, address, location, phone number, opening hours, products and services listed for sale (including details and images), shop/business pages, descriptions, logo, images (shop/portfolio), and other details will be publicly displayed. Other people may see those details In addition to the date of registration, sold item listings, scores and statistics relating to activity. Relayroo automatically receives and records some information from your browser or your mobile device when you visit the Site or use the Apps, such as your IP address or unique device identifier, cookies and data about which pages you visit on the Site or on the Apps. This information helps us analyze and understand how the Site and the Apps work for members and visitors, and provide a more personalized experience for members and visitors. When you use the Site/Apps, you may optionally choose to share your geo-location details with Relayroo in order to use our location-based services. If you have provided your location details but would no longer like to share that information, you may opt out of those services through the settings on the Apps. Some members or visitors may connect to or register a Relayroo account using an external third-party application, such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, LinkedIn. Relayroo may receive some data from those connected third-party applications. Connecting your Relayroo account to third-party applications or services is optional, and when you connect your account to an external app, you will be given the opportunity to grant permission. You can revoke your permission under your settings. Relayroo may receive or collect information (for example: an email address) about a person who is not yet a registered member (a “non-member”) in connection with certain features, including but not limited to: a non-member subscribing to a newsletter, a member inviting a non-member to visit the Site/App, a non-member engaging in a transaction, or a member using a services with a non-member. Non-member information is used only for the purpose it was originally submitted. A non-member can contact support if they do not want their information to be retained. For the provision of order transmission/relay services Relayroo collects from the user various order and end consumer information such as the recipient's and sender specifics, items, pricing, messages and notes. These details are required for the successful provision of services and access is limited to Relayroo staff and parties involved in the transaction. Relayroo may use/share/sell end-customer data for statistical purposes, tools and reporting, but only in a way that is aggregated or ensures a reasonable level of anonymity in the case of a sender's or supplier's end customer. In no circumstance will Relayroo sell/share complete sender/supplier customer details that would provide third parties full customer names and/or contact details. Relayroo will not engage with member's customers directly or outside of the relay transaction except where permission has been granted or it is necessary to do so to deliver additional services on behalf of the user. Payment providers such as Paypal (but not limited to) often require that Relayroo provides details of the party or parties to the transaction. Such details usually include IP Internet address, language, browser details, name, email and other personal/business details for transaction validation and fraud detection. In addition payment providers may return some additional details about the payment initiator and any relevant accounts. Relayroo may retain all or part of those transaction details. Please consult the privacy policy of the any payment provider providers used through Relayroo for further details of their policy. In any payment related processes that are subject to fraud, charge-backs, suspicious, unusual, illegal or other activity in violation of Relayroo's terms and conditions then Relayroo may be legally obligated to share additional user/business details with a third party or the buying or selling user/business on Relayroo. In such cases where Relayroo may suffer undue financial or reputational loss Relayroo may also at it's own discretion share such details with Seller, Buyer or relevant payment institution - such situation is exceptional and in the event of any such cases Relayroo will seek to inform the respective user(s) in advance where reasonably possible and seek a resolution that does not involve disclosure of non public details. Google map services and API is used for some location/geo features of the Site, as a result address and location data you enter may be shared with Google Relayroo uses the information described in this policy to provide and improve our services and products, for billing and payments, for identification and authentication, for targeted online marketing, to contact members or interested parties, and for general research and aggregate reporting. Relayroo terms and conditions require all account owners to be at least 18 years of age (or have the permission and supervision of a responsible parent or legal guardian), therefore, this policy does not discuss use of our Site, our Apps, or services by minors.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use a variety of technologies to provide the functionality we do and also to help us better understand how you use our Site and App so we may enhance and improve it.

Types of tracking technologies

There are three common types of tracking technologies we use: Cookies: This is a small data file sent from a server to your web browser or mobile device that is stored on your browser cache or mobile device. Clear gifs, web beacons, web bugs: These are tiny graphics with a unique identifier similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of web users. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to your personally identifiable information. Tracking technologies have two different lifespans: Persistent means it remembers certain information about your preferences for viewing the site, and allows us to recognize you each time you return. Persistent cookies are stored on your browser cache or mobile device until you choose to delete them. Session, on the other hand, is specific to a particular visit to the site, to carry information as you view different pages so you don’t have to re-enter information. Marketing and Advertising: Gather data to help deliver advertising content relevant to your interests. Relayroo sometimes partners with third-party services who may use various tracking technologies to provide certain services or features, including targeted online marketing. These technologies allow a partner to recognize your computer or mobile device each time you visit Relayroo, but do not allow access to personally identifiable information from Relayroo. You may inform us of any changes or requests in regards to your personal data, and in accordance with our obligations under local data protection law, we may update or delete your personal data accordingly.
